a bit of Humpty History

found a bit of oakland history the other day, the giant foam head of the rapper Shock G from digital underground that was used in the video for "The Return of The Crazy" has been collecting dust in the garage of my building probably since the video premiered

sheep ranch

Back in November my roomate and I went to a birthday party for a friend of my family's. Ever year she holds this weekend long party in an old gold miner hotel up in this tiny town north of Stockton called sheep ranch. I've literally been going to this thing for my entire life.






one of the events of the weekend is a "cheap and delicious" wine tasting where each bottle has to be under 8 dollars. My father acted as the resident sommelier leading the crowd (which grew more rowdy with each passing bottle) through the tasting.
